The group exhibition of thirteen finalists, curated by Artistic Director Giacomo Pigliapoco and designed by the Fosbury Architecture collective, features works by Yumna Al-Arashi (USA), Ileana Arnaoutou & Ismene King (Greece), Pascale Birchler (Switzerland), Cao Shu (China), Andro Eradze (Georgia), Evan Ifekoya (Nigeria), the collective TOMBOYS DON’T CRY (Italy), and Yuyan Wang (China) in the Contemporary section, and by Ylenia-Gaia Dotti (Italy), George Hiraoka Cloke (United Kingdom), Joyce Joumaa (Lebanon), Besnik Lushtaku (Germany), and Yanqing Pan (China) in the Academy section.
The DucatoPrize 2025 exhibition is open to the public, with free access, at the Ducal Chapel of Palazzo Farnese in Piacenza. Until 2 November, 2025, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, visitors can explore the works of the thirteen finalist artists, discovering contemporary practices and languages that engage with pressing social, cultural, and economic issues.
