Residency Prize in Italy

The first venue announced to host one of the winners of the Residency Prizes is Villa Filanda Antonini, in Villorba (Treviso). The winner of the award will be selected by Villa Filanda Antonini and announced on 20 September 2025 during the DucatoPrize award ceremony in Piacenza.

Villa Filanda Antonini (VFA) is an independent space dedicated to experimentation in the languages of contemporary art.

Founded in 2021 through the initiative of Giulio Feltrin and Eliisa Korpijärvi, VFA is the inaugural project supported by the Arper Feltrin Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to fostering dialogue between contemporary art, design, and architecture.

At the heart of VFA is its Artist Residency Program, which aims to create a network of individuals and processes capable of interpreting the material and immaterial specificities of the region in which it is rooted.

Throughout the year, the Villa hosts resident exhibitions, workshops, and cultural events, all of which are open to the local community. VFA’s activities are designed for art-minded and curious individuals who are eager to create, engage, and collaborate—both with the resident artists and with VFA itself.
